Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has stirred a wave of outrage after sharing a disturbing video showing a police official brutally assaulting a 14-year-old auto-rickshaw driver in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The viral footage captures the cop mercilessly beating the young driver and dragging him by the hair in the middle of the road, sparking condemnation and demands for accountability.

Identified as Inspector Bhanu Prakash by several media reports, the officer allegedly attacked the teenager during an altercation, although the exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear. Swara Bhasker took to her official X account to express her dismay, directly questioning Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about the state's governance in the wake of such incidents.

In a scathing tweet, the actress wrote "UP police is just a bunch of unbridled Muslim haters. Absolutely shameful conduct. Is this your great governance @myogiadityanath @myogioffice @Uppolice @ghaziabadpolice. Disgusting unconstitutional display."

Reports indicate that this is not the first instance of controversy involving the officer, who has previously faced allegations of misconduct and hooliganism. 

Responding to the public outcry, the Ghaziabad police's official X handle assured that the matter has been taken seriously, with the ACP Wave City directed to conduct a thorough investigation and initiate legal proceedings against those involved.
